Success by Design has been in existence since the year 2000. Our founder, Eddie Vélez, was educated in New York City’s School of Art & Design, as an advertising major and a general illustration/cartooning minor. He also holds a BSB-M in Marketing from the University of Phoenix. However, he has over 18-years experience in marketing and public relations. Currently, Eddie is pursuing higher and continuing education, in order to offer a higher value of service to his customers.
Eddie apprenticed under Neil Martineau of Ogilvy & Mather, one of America’s most prestigious advertising and marketing firms, based out of New York City, for several years. At the time, Mr. Martineau was the only winner of three Ogilvy Awards for excellence in advertising. Mr. Martineaus’s clientele included Coca Cola®, Cunard, Bacardi Rum and American Express® to name a few.
Due to Eddie’s experience, education, apprenticeship and track record, he has helped companies big and small achieve their marketing goals. As Director of Marketing and Training for a major healthcare company, Eddie was instrumental in their rapid growth and being ranked 12th on NASDAQ’s top 50 for the year 2001, under the symbol of PCIS, and currently serves as CEO for another consumer-driven healthcare company called Maxous, Inc.
Eddie also has extensive experience in sales and is a nationally known sales, customer-service, self-help and motivational trainer and speaker. Eddie speaks to large groups and small gatherings. He has spoken at international corporate openings and church gatherings of only 10! Plus, Eddie has authored training material with the reader in mind, but the company’s goals as the direction.
